Dear Judy Blume,
I love your book called The One In The Middle Is The Green Kangro. Sorry about spelling. I can totaly relate to the book. I have one older brother and one little sister. I do feel like the peanut butter in a samwitch. So I wrote about that book for my book report so I could finsh second grade. My second grade teacher thought it was the most thoughtful one.Thank you for writing amazing books evryday.
Dear Judy Blume,
I am writing to tell you that I love your books on Fudge like Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing; otherwise Know as Sheila the Great, Superfudge, Fudge-a-mania, and I am reading Double Fudge, but, I am also writing to say in Super Fudge when Fudge said "I know there's no such thing as Santa" if I hadn't already known I would have been very heartbroken. No offense, but I don't think you should write that kind of stuff in your books that could really make a kid sad if they didn't already know like me. No offense.
Hi Judy I'm a big fan. And I love reading your book and I have the whole self of your books and I love the kid one but I don't have the teenage one I of he to read them. I love that u can written me back.
Hi Judy, I wanted to ask if you will please write more books in the fudge series? I think the series has so much life in it . Please write more books I need some good news after this election.

Dear Judy Blume, my name is Olivia and I'm from Minnesota. I recently just finished your book "Forever...". I am very sad that you didn't write a second book. I was really hoping that Michael and Katherine would get back together but then you stopped the book. This book gave me so much knowledge and happiness, and you writing another book would make me the happiest person in the world! Please write another book. You Would make me so happy. I normally I'm not the book reader, but your book has inspired me to read so many more books. If your actually reading this, please write another book, make me happy! Please write back. Thank You!

Dear Judy Blume,
I love your Fudge books. They are so great and so funny. My favorite character is Sheila because she is so elegant. My second favorite character is Fudge because he is funny. Judge's bird is so funny when he says "bonjour stupid." That made me and my brother laugh so hard! Please write more Fudge books. Sincerely, Chloe
PS. Please write back when you get a chance
I really like the way you write the Fudge books. I have your books. I've been listening to you ever since I was a little girl. You inspire me because you've never given up. I would like to meet you.
your biggest fan,
I've been reading your books ever since I was very little and I am 12 now. I just wanted to say thank you for writing all of your awesome books! I especially liked your books about Fudge so I really would like more...
hi my name is kelly and i love your books. i am doing a book report type thing at school and i would love to interview you
Hi Judy! I really love the stories about Fudge and I even bought another copy of the Tales of the Fourth Grade Nothing to my lil sis. I'm already 18 but I'm still fond of books you write. I believe, it isn't for kids only but the moral teaches the grown-ups as well. May God bless you!
My Uncle Paul Stefanelli died in the 1951 plane crash going to Tampa. I would love to know more..
Dear, juby blumer you make traffic books. I was going to talk about how you make me laugh every time I read your books. One reason is that I like how Mrs.yander liked the little brother more then the older brother the older brother was being very respectful and Mrs.yander did not care she kept cuddling with the younger brother. That was funny. It is a very humerus book and very carrying. One thing I learned it was to be more responsible with your pets.others then that you make very wonderful, funny books.one thing you could of change was why is the older brother mad at the younger brother. Keep writing books and I hope you wright back.bye
You should write more fudge books Gmail me back
Hello, Judy! I`ve been reading SuperFudge with my 6th grade students in a bilingual school in the south of Brazil. We loved the story and we are doing some works about it, like a portfolio. Students have created new cover ideas for the book. I would like to show you if you want. Kisses.
I absolutly love your books Mrs.Blume and I have read them all. I had a great book idea that I wanted to share a great book idea that I have always wanted to share with you. I would love it if you would listen to it. Just let me know when you want to hear it. I'm a writer myself and have always wanted to write a book. So, maybe we could meet and you could give me writing tips.
Hello! I am Yuni again. Thank you for answering my letter. You are so kind!
When i am in the school year, I didn't like reading books. I got interested in your Fudge a mania book. And I also loved biking in America myself. I feel so free when I am riding my bike.
I am visiting your website. I feel sorry I didn't read your Pain and the Great One series. I hope I read someday.
What is your favorite character? Mine is Hello Kitty. They are just like my sister and me. I like cats, but it's really hard to make the sound as you said. Thank you again for writing back!
Thank you for writing so many great books, they are always impossible to put down!
Right now I think I am about to cry, I'm actually writing to you. You are my favourite author of all time. I love your book 'Are you there god it's me Margret' and 'Here's to you Rachel Robinson. Well I love all of your books except from 'Forever' and ' Tiger eyes'. I am to young to read those but I will soon. I wanted to tell you that you are an absolute LEGEND! And if you come out with any book I will always love it. My sister is dyslexic and hates reading but when she read your book 'Are you there god it's me Margaret' she loved you. I used to hear her laugh at that book every day also 'Iggies house' I think her favorite bit was all of it. By the way I am from England, London. I just wanted to get that off of my chest. Hope you come out with another book soon.
Love from Imaan!!
Sorry I'm not a kid, but I had something I just had to share with you. I was reading "The Pain and the Great" one to a kindergarten class. At the end I asked them who the parents loved best. At first they were picking one or the other. I was trying to lead them without giving the answer away. One little girl finally said "both of them." While they were still guessing one child or the other, one little girl called out "THE CAT!"
hello, I dont think that we've met but probably have peeps in common (i came here from England some 20 odd years ago). Anyway up, I do know that you are a famous writer in residence in Cayo Heuso and just heard something that I think that you might love.
The BBC, or Beeb, or 'Auntie' as we call her, has recently launched a campaigne to celebrate reading 'Love to Read' and I just listened to one of the progs related to it - Laren Laverne's show on BBC Radio 6, Friday Oct 21st (digital available online) from Rochdale library in the North of England.
The 3rd song that she plays - "the Library' by Kimye Dawson from her album 'Thunder Thighs' - lovely, but more to the point, the song celebrates the writer Judy Blume!
Otherwise if your interested Lauren also plays, among others, Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit (about Alice in W, prob the first modern kids book). !!! or Chk Chk Chk as I know them doing 'All you writers' - also Django Reinhart, the delicious Sandy Shaw, cute little Vampire Weekend, Radio Head. Unfortunately no Frank Zapper's 'Library Card' (probably not still available)
Note: in my quest to find your email address I saw pics in Architectual Digest of your Key West home which as a furniture/interior designer I adored!
I hope that you enjoy.
63 year old retired attorney and just read one of your books for the first time - In the Unlikely Event. Great read and not in your usual genre and I salute that effort!!!! Never knew of these events and the fact that you grew up near there really brought the plane crashes home to you in a very personal way. Hoping for more books like this from you!
Hello, a couple of classmates and I have read your book "Tiger Eyes". We just wondered if you ever thought of writing a 2nd book. What happened to Wolf? Did Davey and Wolf ever see each other again? What happened to Aunt Bitsy and Uncle Walter, did they ever think of adoption? Did Jane get permanent help? What was Davey's life like when she got home in terms of relationships with people?
Dear Ms. Blume-
It's been about 30 years since I first read your wonderful books. My favorite is Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. I recently read Superfudge again because my daughter has discovered your books. I was wondering if you changed them, however. Peter wants a laptop for Christmas, but in 1980 when it was written these were not around. Obviously it's fine if you did, and if not I congratulate you on your ability to predict the future! Keep on writing. I will look in mom's basement for my old copy from the 20th century!-Maya
Dear Mrs. Blume, I really love your books about Peter and Fudge. The characters are funny and do ridiculous things. I have read every book with Fudge in it. I love the dog Turtle too. Can you please write a new book with Fudge, Turtle and Peter.
Thank you for your hard work!
Hey pen pal how was today I had a wonderful day I got you letter I've seen your blog it's cool and I have heard that you some times write about what you see inside like your children I love one of your books Tales of a fourth grade nothing I have your book and it's funny and I like it Fudge is pretty cute and funny. Why does Peter like it when Fudge is sleeping and drooling. EEEWW! l wondered why Fudge ate Peters moms roses well probley cause he thought they were good and yeah it wasn't to Peter! What do you like better a dog or cat? It's because I like dogs they are playful! I have 3 dogs there names are Joker, Papi, and Cookie and I named Joker that name because he has a backwards leg! And I named Papi that name because he looked like the dog from Beverly Hills Chihuahua and Cookie because her color of her fur, she's 8 years old! Well I'll talk to you tommorow!

We will visit your website again once we finish your book and we're sure that we will all enjoy your novel. Thank you!!
Dear Judy Blume,
My name is Jess and I am a junior at the University of Arizona. In my publishing class we have created a student run online publication to showcase new and established writers and I have a project that requires an interview with an established author who has influenced me both as a reader and as a writer.
I am reaching out to you with the understanding that you are extremely busy and that most likely this email will get stuck in a backed up inbox and I won't hear back until long after my due date for this project. That being said it would be such an honor to get a response, no matter how long it takes to get to my email because your work has truly inspired me and these questions, beyond being for an assignment, are questions that I truly want to know.
If you are comfortable responding to my questions I would ask if you would allow us to publish your interview on our university student website: tucsontalespublication.com
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my message and I would be overjoyed for any response!
Why did you chose to write for children?
Why did you chose to write under a pseudonym?
What rituals help get you in the mindset to write?
What do you struggle with most in your writing?
Are you working on any new projects or books?
What was an early experience where you learned that language had power?
How do you select the names of your characters?
Do you read your book reviews? How do you deal with bad or good ones?
How much relation is their between your works and your own experiences in life?
What was your hardest scene to write?
What was your favorite book or story growing up?
Have you always wanted to be a writer?
How do you think your writing has evolved over time?
When you are looking for inspiration where do you go or what do you do?
What does literary success look like to you?
One of my students sent you an email. Our network is one way with student emails. I am sending you the same email with the hope that a response would come through maybe to mine.
Here is her message.
Dear Judy Blume,
Hello Judy my name is Samantha and I'm your pen pal this week I like to write to people like you and I am 9 years old. Can you be my friend?
We would be great friends and my favorite color is red and I've been to New Jersey before its okay I live now in Santa Maria in California it ain't bad either
I go to Jimenez school and I'm in 4th grade. Tell me about you.
I love your books they are magical to me my teacher does to keep on writing!!!
I am participating in National History Day for my school. Most kids are doing their projects on the Boston Tea Party or the Salem Witch trials. I chose to do mine on feminine hygiene products and how they have emancipated women. I have learned a lot. Do you think your book, "Are you there God? It's me Margaret" made an impact on society by letting people know that it is ok to talk about the taboo? My mother told me how when she went to my middle school back in the early 80's how every girl wanted to read this book and how everyone made it out to be something bad. My mom is buying me the book ti read for myself. I know you are busy, but if you could just respond with one statement it would be beneficial, I have had a hard time finding someone to interview. No one want to talk about periods and feminine hygiene products!

I'm reading tales of a forth grade nothing and it is very good. Do you think you will ever write another book in that series? Please write back. Thank you.
