Hi Judy. I've known about your books, but, I am ashamed to say, I'd never read one until last month. Read IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT, FOREVER, DEAR GOD IT ME MARGARET, IT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD, and currently, WIFEY. I wish I had ready your children and young adult readers back then; you were ahead of your time on tackling the things kids wanted or needed to know about in the seventies. Your adult novels are riveting. WIFEY touches on so many issues most women (and men) don't speak of. I grew up in the same households as your protagonists... no talk of sex, the good girl thing... and life. Thank you for putting the words onto paper, and making it so we are "not alone" with our thoughts, fantasies, and actions. Love you...

Dear Judy Blume,

I love "The Pain and the Great One" books. I think I'm like the great one and my brother is like the pain. I have an idea for a new book. It should be about a girl who is from the dwarf planet Pluto. She has blue hair and purple eyes and is in fourth grade.

Sincerely,

Dear Judy Blume,
My class just finished reading Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. I like this book because it has
some nice drama, like in the end when Fudge ate Dribble. My favorite part of the book was when Peter's dad poured the corn flakes on Fudge's head.
I think other people should read this because it is very fun and addictive. Whenever Mrs. Frackman was going to read this book, I got excited. Sincerely,
Sam
