Thank you, thank you for all your wonderful notes. I only wish I could respond to each of you personally. But in order to start a new book I need serious thinking time, which means less time for e-mail. Hope you understand. Just want you to know that my assistant and I read this guestbook every day, and that your continued love and support are a constant inspiration.

Hey Mrs. Blume I love all your books, but what I really liked was "Here's to you, Rachel Robinson", and I would just like to say that if you ever have time to write a book on her family, to write one from Charles' point of view. Thanks.

Hi. I own the magic fountain restaurant located on the site if the 52 crash. The Mandel family lived in a 3 story home the plane crashed onto. Judy Mandel wrote a book called Replacement Child about events in her family bf and after the crash killed her sister. I can't wait to read your book. I didn't grow up here but I am fascinated by the history of these crashes. Judy Mandel is on FB and I emailed her about your book. My chikdren grew up w your books. I even read most of them.

I write probably 1 million little stories each day, and make up many in my head. I love writing and am good at it, but I got a C+ on our essay we had to do in advanced English. <3

Your book Forever... turned me into a wreck but I love it, a lot. It connects to me in a way no other book does. It's a compilation of my realities and fantasies, which are soon to be my realities as well. I enjoyed every moment of reading your book.

I'm Gianna. When I was 8 years old, I was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic scoliosis (I'm 13 now). I'm in a back brace and adjusting has been difficult. I really enjoyed Deenie. It was nice to see a story about a girl my age with the same condition. Thanks for writing this!

Pine River gr 4

I like when Fudge jumped off the climber because I did something like that when I was little and I lost 3 teeth.
I like when it was Fudges birthday and his friend peed on the carpet.
I like how Fudge is silly and pretends that he is different animals.
I like the book because it has a lot of detail.
I liked it when Fudgie was playing with his toy train because it sounded funny.
I liked it when Peter got the picture dictionary from the Yarbies and Fudge got a toy train, he said they had another one and Peter was upset because he didn't get something better.
I like TOTFGN because when Peter got his pet turtle and Fudge says
see, see, all gone.
I liked it when they went to the shoe store and Peters mom tricked Fudge into getting the brown and white saddle shoes.
I liked it when Peter told Fudge not to touch Dribble but he did at the birthday party.
I liked when they went to the Dentist and tricked Fudge into thinking they were counting his teeth and they were fixing them (see teeth, count teeth, count teeth)
I liked it when Peter was standing on his head to make Fudge laugh and eat when he didn't eat his dinner.
I liked it when Fudge's dad threw the cereal all over Fudge in the bathtub, because Fudge wouldn't eat.
One thing I like about the story is when Fudge's brother Peter called Fudge "Fang"
I like it when Fudge pretends he is a dog and he stays under the table and eats because it is funny.
At Fudge's birthday party when the kid who ate the second peace of cake fell asleep on the carpet, my baby sister fell asleep in her baby chair when she was eating cake.

thank you for sending a email back to me. I hope you put a lot of work into the book you are writing. can you answer my guestion for me how did you come up with all the titles for all you books. Bye for now

Hometown: Boulder City, NV - Posted November 19, 2014 10:14 pm

Tonight, I was at the library with my 8 year old son. We were in the children's section browsing the turnstiles with the paperback books. I saw your name as he was turning the stile and I stopped him and picked up "Blubber" and then "Deenie". I felt like I went back in time and was a 10 year old girl binge reading all of your books.

I know you have heard stories from so many people about the influence your books have had on their childhood. Count me in as someone that can honestly say that your books saved me and for that I thank you. I identified with Margaret, Sally, Peter, Rachel, and to some extent Linda (I was the fat girl but not bullied like her).

To this day, your books are food for my soul. I still have my original copy of "Are you there God? It's me, Margaret." The cover is ripped and tattered, but the pages are perfect.

Hometown: Simcoe, Ontario - Posted November 19, 2014 3:01 pm

Dear: mrs. Blume
I want you to make another book called Peter Hatcher to the Rescue. Otherwise I like the book Sheila the great and all the other books you made. In My class we read Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing and it was AWESOME, all the kids in my class liked it. My class did a message to you isn't that cool? That is all I am writing to you today,so have a great day.

Dear.Mrs Blume
Hi I love your website and I am in Mr.Auld's class. Just to let you know and like on my other message I said we just finshed reading Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. And maybe when I go to my public libary I will go look for Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great. It will be hard but I am up for the challenge also I like the title for all your Fudge books and the Pain and the Great one. I never seen your other books. Plus we have one of the Pain and the Greate one book's in our class and Mr.Auld signed out two other ones I forget what they are called. I also like your front cover of this website I hope you write back

your biggst fan

Hometown: Simcoe, Ontario - Posted November 19, 2014 11:51 am

Dear Mrs. Blume,
I am your biggest fan. I have a new idea for a book. I think that Peter,s dog should give birth to 10 puppies, and Jimmy Fargo should have 3 garter snakes and Sheila can have 2 geckoes. Can you make more Fudge books please! I hope you can make more Fudge books, and I hope you agree with me and my idea.

Hometown: Simcoe - Posted November 19, 2014 11:42 am

Dear Judy Blume,
I like your book Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing
because... I like it when Peters dad dumps the bowl of corn flakes on Fudge and got what he deserted. I like Tales of a fourth Grade Nothing but I don`t like it when Fudge eats Dribble its too sad for me.
Over all this book is petty funny and I probably
read the rest of the books also I think you should
make more books for the series.

Yours truly,

Hometown: Simcoe, Ontario - Posted November 19, 2014 11:38 am

Dear Judy Blume,

I like your books a lot, mostly super Fudge and double Fudge.I hope you make another Fudge book.
your only
one Alex

Hometown: Simcoe,Ontario - Posted November 19, 2014 11:28 am

Dear Mrs.Blume,
Hi my name is Kyle and I want to ask some questions. Why base the character Fudge on your son Larry? Was he mischievous like Fudge, or was he crazy like Fudge? Why make Fudge eat Dribble? I am in fourth grade just like Peter. I am nine and I was thinking I could make my own Fudge book called " funny Fudge." I want to maybe meet up when I'm older and discus my idea for a new Fudge book. Thank you!
