Hi Miss. Blume our 5th grade class is doing a friendly letter to our favorite author and I couldn't seem to find a mailing address. If you could email it to me at email@example.com that would be great!
i just wanted to say thank you you books freckle juicie, tales of the forth grade nothing, and superfudge got me started reading when i was really young my mother is was an english teacher you made it so i could read at a very high lvl at a young age and thought you should know those are still some of my favorite books even better than victor hugo

I LIKE YOUR BOOKS THAT YOU MADE.MY FAVORITE ONE WAS SUPERFUDGE.MY FAVORITE PART WAS WHEN FUDGE GOT A BIRD
In a nostalgic mood, I've been Google-ing my favorite childhood authors and of course, no trip down literary memory lane would be complete without a trip to your website. Thank you for giving us great books to read (and re-read over and over) throughout childhood, young adulthood, and now -- adulthood. How incredibly grateful I am to you for your books, all of which I have loved over the years, particularly "Are You There God?" and "Blubber," not to mention "Wifey"! I am eagerly awaiting your next book, but until then, will be enjoying all of my favorites at the library. Thanks again for giving us your characters and insights.
I love your books i had just read as long as were together it was great
I'm writing a banned book review on your book, Blubber. I really like and I don't think it should be banned or challenged. I feel like you understand kids in a way that most adults don't. They just don't understand the book like kids do so they shouldn't be trying to ban it. They should stop challenging it because the book isn't meant for them. If they don't want their kid to read it than they can decide if their going to let them but they shouldn't try to keep it away from other kids. I think your books are really great!
please write more fudge books i love them!!!!!
Dear Judy Blume,
I am reading fudge- a-mania for a school project and it was a great book I loved the ending your a good author
Love your books
Mrs. Schneider's 2nd grade class
Hello Ms. Blume! We just finished reading Freckle Juice for our very first 2nd grade literature circle. We have chosen you as our first author study. We thought the book was funny and had a great lesson for us to learn. We learned that the grass is not always greener on the other side. Our teacher put blue freckles on our face and we had them on all day at school. We told everyone that we drank freckle juice!! Next, we will be reading, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. We feel honored to be able to read your books! By the way...when our teacher was a young girl she read ALL your books!
From your fans at Queen of Peace School

ms blume i been reading your books every since i was i learned how to read now im on the middle school books they help so much
I don't remember which of your books was my first, but I do remember searching the "B" shelf at my school library every time I was there. I also remember the first time I handed a Judy Blume book to my daughter and anxiously waited to see her fall in love with the same book I did so many years ago.
I also remember reading your books and knowing that I wanted to be a writer some day. At some point, I gave up the dream of being a "real" writer, though I never gave up the habit of writing.
It wasn't until I went back to school in my late 30's to finish up my BA that I was finally given the push I needed to make my dream a reality. Today I am in the MFA program at UNLV studying creative writing with an emphasis in fiction. I just wanted to thank you for making me fall in love with books so many years ago.
make a book and the pains friend comes to play and his sister scares them.
I LOVE JUDY BLUME
Mrs. Blume, you are the most iconic author of my youth. I think I read every single book you wrote. I also loved all of the Encyclopedia Browns, Great Brains and Alfred Hitchcock and 3 Investigators if you still paying attention. Anyway, I cite you as my favorite author EVER and I was traveling to Key West in December (13-16) for a few days and as I have never been there I was reading up on the Island and it's history and well it's a tiny Island and you live there!!!! If you are still there I would DIE to shake your hand for 3 minutes!!! My fantasy football team name is "Are You There Roulley? It's Me Gaelen. As a tribute to your book and the fact that Gaelen Kash has never won a fantasy football championship!!! Love, your best friend and the bravest policeman to ever live Mark

Why dont you get tired writing books.
I just wanted to say I love you and your books! You inspire me to be a writer someday.
Dear, Judy Blume
I can relate to blubber because people made fun of me one year because they said I was you know what. But the girl that did it pretended she was my friend one day and my enemy the next. I don't talk to her anymore.
Right now I'm reading your book Fudge-a-Mania. I love how you made Peter call Sheila "The Queen of the Cooties." My little sister is just like Fudge. She's going through a phase right now where she steals my food. I get really annoyed with her sometimes!!!!!
Hi judy a couple of questions
1) what is your genre of preference?
2)why do you like to write the genre you chose above and can you tell me about it's characteristics and practitioners?
3)can you tell me about your historical period or about an ideological movement?
thank you judy.
Your Fudge books are the best collection of books I have read in my entire life!! I am doing a project about you, could you please give me special information about you? Why don't you write another book of the Fudge collection, or make a movie about that collection?
Hi, I'm an eighth grader participating in history fair and my topic is banned books. I know many of your books have been banned all over the country and I was wondering if I could do an interview over email so I can put it in my documentary. Please email me back. Thank you.
Dear Mrs. Blume,
My reading group just read Tales Of a Fourth Grade Nothing. We really enjoyed it. I have a question. Does Tales Of a Fourth Grade Nothing somewhat relate to what your life was as a kid? Can you relate to one of the characters like Fudge Shelia Peter, Jimmy or Mr.and Mrs. Hatcher?
I relate to Peter because my sister will act like Fudge, and I will get mad. Sometimes I worry about her. I loved your book. I could picture everything you wrote in my mind. I felt like I was at a movie.
Dear Judy Blume 10/23/13
I am in 4th grade. I can relate to Fudge because I am the youngest in my family. I like the book. My group in school finished the Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing today.I thought that when Fudge swallowed Dribble, it was funny!
Dear Judy Blume,
First off what I would like to say is your book "forever" is by far the best book ever that I have read.I really dislike reading and this book is the first one I read in one day and that I could not put down. I think im going to read the next book if I can find it, since this book was so good! I can really relate to this book a lot and I really think a lot more people should read it. I grew up on reading your books and I belive that they are the most eye catching ones and only books I will actully read. I hosestly really think you are such an amazing author and by far the best one out there. I just wanted to say thank you for making reading easier and a lot more fun for me.
I am a longtime teacher in the Denver Public Schools. Last night, a friend shared a testing letter that you and many others had sent to President Obama. I just wanted to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart for signing the letter. I love, love, love, love teaching and can't imagine ever doing anything else. At the same time, I HATE what it's become- where all we do is test and test and test and test and then test some more. I hate that I have to fight for time to read to kids, and write with them, and share stories. And then if I protest, I am told that I'm not rigorous, not progressive, don't care about kids' learning. I really appreciate people like you taking up the torch. Thank you so much!
Thank you for standing up for our children and signing the letter to President Obama against standards based teaching and testing. As a teacher I have seen the damage testing has done and have left teaching to fight against it. Your love for our children is priceless. I hope you will continue to voice your opposition and support those fighting against Common Core and the mindless testing that goes with it.
Hi Judy Blume,
My teacher said to write to to you becaus ewe read lots of your books at read out loud. I love them all so much, especially Fudge that books makes me laugh all the time! I'm reading one of your books right now! It's "Hello god? Are u there? It's maregret. I love that book! I don't know if you'll respond, but I'll appreciate if u will! I read all your books!
Dear Ms. Blume,
I love your books...especially Tales of the 4th Grade Nothing. Fudge is really funny, and Peter can be a little over dramatic. We used Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing to make a movie for our Film Festival. It is called Tales of a Library Nothing. You can see it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYRU6GZuVZc We would love for you to watch it and tell us what you think!
I have an alternate chapter for your amazing book Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing and I was wondering, can I share it with you?
Hey Mrs.Blume I just wanted to ask you are all of your books about your life? Or do you have any books about a historical period or to an illogical movement.
Hi my name is Summer I am 10 and I love your books, I am in 5th grade and I have read "Are you there god it's me Margret","Just as long as we're together", and " otherwise known as Shelia the Great." I find myself as a great reader in advanced, and Judy Blume is the most wonderful author. She is such a big role model, I wish I could meet her.
I just want to tell you what a great writer I think you are. I totally love your books, even though most of my friends say I'm too old for them. You're an amazing writer, please keep up your awesome writing so that we teenagers and preteens can enjoy them.
Lots of love,
i love double fudge it's COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
