Dear Judy Blume,
I love your book Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing! My favorite parts of your book when Fudge ate Peter's turtle, and when Peter's dad said, "We got a dog that's going to grow quite big. Much too big for your brother to swallow!" What inspired you to write books?

Your Friend ,
Haven

Just wondering, is there going to be a Tales of a Fifth Grade Nothing? You friend Emma :]

For an ELA project I have to interview a fictional character, then write a human-interest story off the interview. I can't decide whether or not to do Sally J. Freeman or Ma Fanny. I also wanted to say that my mom literally loves your novels, her favorite is Forever, though I like Starring Sally J. Freeman As Herself. I'm also trying to be a writer but I am not very good at making my ideas into stories.

Dear Mrs. Blume
My mom wrote you a letter 26 years ago when I was 11. I was going through what all 11 year old girls go through plus some more extreme complications, I found so much comfort in your books that my mom wrote you to thank you for what you did for me and no doubt countless other children. She found your responding letters and sent them to me today. I remember feeling so special looking at your hand written notes to me then, and today was no different. my eleven year old, Savannah, also reads your books and loves them! I just wanted you to know that you are so special to so many generations and will always have my love and admiration!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Cinnamon

Hi! We are a third grade class from Indiana. We just read your book,"The Pain and the Great One". We want to know if your children look just like the illustrations in the book. We really liked this book. Our teacher has a whole tub of books by you! What is your favorite animal? We read that you were an adult when you started writing, but we want to know what age you were. Hi Judy,
Thank you so much for sharing such great stories and creating such relatable stories over the course of so many years. As an aspiring author I can only hope to be an ounce as successful as you have become. Not in becoming well known, but being able to reach so many kids, teens and adults world wide and share a perspective on the challenges of growing up and dealing with every day issues. You are a really great author and a lovely person, never stop writing and being an inspiration! Sincerely, Grace

Hi! My name is Shea. I read almost all of the Fudge Books and I love them! I think Fudge is really funny. So is Uncle Feather! What gave you the idea of Uncle Feather? I also really liked how Fudge rode all the way to the bakery in SuperFudge? I would have gotten some chocolate chip cookies and so would my Dad. I really liked the idea of code names in DoubleFudge. My code name is Aehs Paula. Me and my dad take turns reading each page. Thank you for writing your books.

I grew up reading your books in grade school and junior high. I remember reading, "Freckle Juice" and the one I read over and over again was, "Forever". As I was a young teen trying to make sense of what love could be apart from my dysfunctional family life.
