Dear Judy Blume;
My class and I read the entire series about Peter,Sheila,and Fudge .I think you should write another Fudge book about Jimmy Fargo,Peter's best friend and how he feels about his dad getting remarried .This was just an idea to make another Fudge book.

Hi,My class has been reading your Hatcher family books and we love them.We were wondering if you were having any plans for a new 5th book because my class was having many ideas like Peter goes to College,a separate book about Jimmy,Peter and his family go to Hawii to see the ''Natural Beauties'',or start the book series over as ''Tales of a fourth grade Tootsie'',or when Tootsie becomes Peter's age.I hope some of these ideas are helpful to you and that they make it into a book.

Hi, Mrs.Blume ! I just wanted to say I finaly read tiger eyes and it was amazing! It is my new favorite book, I love the way you used your words it was so detailed I could perfectly see the characters in my head! It was so sad to me because my dad died too so I could feel daveys pain through out the book. I know how hard it is to loose a family member that close to you, its much different than having your dog die or uncle.well anyways I'm still not sure if I want to see the tiger eyes movie because I have a distinguished way I imagined them from how you described the characters in the book, and I'm nervous if I see the movie I will be upset on how the actors/actress look. Buy I probably will and up seeing it one day. Ok that's all!

- love you,Lola

"Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret" was so important to me growing up. It helped me get through puberty. Any chance you'll update it to let us know how she deals with menopause? I need a trusted resource.

Hello, Judy Blume! I'm 12 years old, you've emailed me a few times, but I just wanted to send a message to you again! I'm in middle school, so I have summer homework, and I need to read a book with a lexile of around 1200. Do you have any books that would be appropriate but harder that I could read? Let me know, and I'm a big fan of you, and you have inspired me to want to write a book when I'm older. So let me know if you have any ideas! Thanks!

hi judy, i have been a teacher's aide in a kindergarted classroom for many years. i see many problems that children have with learning specific skills. i've been writing books to help overcome these problems and friends and family are encouraging me to get them published. i don't have the first clue as to how to do this. can you help? is it as simple as sending a copy of a manuscript to a publishing company? i want my books to reach all kindergarteners around the world. thanks

Hi Judy; I just read the Los Angeles Times article about you, fascinating. I want to tell you, I grew up in LA and met the man I would marry in LA. He grew up in Elizabeth. We married a year later. And I lived in Elizabeth from '47 through 1955. If you cared to meet me - we could, I've a lot to share with you. By the way I'm writer too. We will meet at Shutters, or wherever... BW.

I am a longtime fan who is being re-introduced to your books through a college course on Banned and Censored Literature. I just finished Forever and am reminded of why I loved your books so deeply as a teen reader. I remember feeling that Are You There God? It's Me Margaret was written for me and me alone. It touched me so. Thank you for always being an inspiration and for your tireless efforts at protecting intellectual freedoms.

Hi Judy,

I just wanted to let you know I was a huge fan of your books growing up. I read them all them multiple times a a child. I recently borrowed some of the books you wrote from our local library and started to read them to my 8 year old daughter. We started reading tales of a fourth grade nothing tonight before bed and she laughed at some of it while I was reading. I forgot how much I loved your books as its been along time since I've read one.. I advised my daughter that I wrote you in elementary school and thought itd be cool to let you know that my daughter appreciates your writing as much as I do!!

Thought I would let you know how awesome of a writer you are!

Thank you sooooooooo much Judy Blume for the sheer enjoyment of the magical summers of reading your books during the holidays from school. You introduced me to reading from "Are you there God, it's me Margaret" and I learned about the visual world that was there just by opening a book. You helped answer so many questions to a young teen mind, you just knew how to put all those emotions into words. The wonderful books and wonderful characters who enriched my life. I owe you a debt of gratitude; may you be forever blessed!!!!

love over due thank you. at the age of 7 I lost my dad. he had lots of health issues so it wasn't sudden, but to a 7 year old, its always sudden.
A couple of years later I read Tiger Eyes. I would love to say it made it all better, but it didn't. What it did do is probably more important. It showed me that I wasn't alone in my shock and pain. It showed me that I wasn't the only one who didn't understand the decisions made by my mother after the loss of my dad. It showed me it was ok to be mad and to hurt.
Thank you for letting me know what I was feeling was normal.
