I have read your books "Just as long as we're together", and "Here's to you, Rachel Robinson", and LOVED them so much (literally they are my favorite books in the entire world!). I really think you should write a book through Allisons perspective like you did with Rachel and Stephanie, because I think it would be interesting to here everything from her perspective.

Having read In the Unlikely Event last summer while on vacation in Northern MN, I went looking for more of your work this year and found Wifey, Summer Sisters and Smart Women. We were gone for two weeks this year out where there is little cell signal and only a radio/no television. It rained quite a bit and there was a chill in the air so fishing on our boat was a challenge. Instead, we drove the 30 miles back to town where I could download the three books from Amazon. We had a fire going in the fireplace and I was not disappointed. I so loved all three books, your characters and the way you tell a story. I'm still an aspiring novelist, retired and ready to write. Thanks for the inspiration. Don't stop because I am hungry for more!

Thank you Judy for writing the stories I grew up with in the '70's...being bullied in school for being a ministers daughter or being made fun of because I didn't know 'certain words'. I grew up in Brooklyn, NY so being a preachers kid was hard. I read your books and my whole life related to them in 6th-8th grade.
So I just wanted to say thank you and maybe I'll look in my attic and find my old paperback stories...

Hi Ms.Blume, just doing homework for workplace diversity class and I have to right about media that changed my life. I can truly say that your famous book, "Are you there God, it's me Margaret" changed my life. In the 70s, I couldn't Talk to my mother about puberty so I had no idea how to tell her about things I was experiencing but thanks to Margaret, I just did it the way she did. My Mom was still cold. Anyway, just wanted to thank you!!! Brought tears to my eyes when I remembered it.

I loved your books as a teenager...I don't remember which book I was reading in 7th grade when the english teacher asked "do your parents know you're reading that?" I learned about "Summer Sisters" from a daily book calendar I had and was interested. By page 9 I was hooked...yes about the summer sisters but also that Vix had a brother named Nathan with muscular dystrophy....I had a brother named Nathan with MD!!!!!! The coincidence was crazy. I cried when Vix found about his death and the way you describe her and her parents reactions when he was gone. I lost my brother at 20 (I was 23) and he too died quickly. I lived about 2 hours away and got a call at work that he had passed. Eventually, my parent too divorced. What made you choose MD for your book? Do you have experience in this area? Just curious Summer Sisters was a great book that I couldn't put down....a whole Sunday spent finishing it up Thanks for a great book and sharing your talent!

Miss M

In the book "Are you there God? It's me Margaret.", I think I found an error. It's on page 101, 3rd paragraph.

"No, thank you," Gretchen said. "That's disgusting!
"Above the neck, Gretchen," Norman said.

The error I noticed is there is no closing quotation mark after the word disgusting.

The book edition I am reading is printed by Atheneum Books for Young Readers, April 2014.
