Thank you, thank you for all your wonderful notes. I only wish I could respond to each of you personally. Judy Blume, you have been inspirational to me ever since I read your famous book, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, I'm half way through another book of yours, Double Fudge, and I even started it today!
I was inspired by you and I am practicing to become an author myself! I have been writing a procedural during school recently.
I want to tell you that you have been a great author and keep writing!

Well, I have finally heard those magical words from my 4th grade son..."It's like I can't put this book down, mom." Thanks to you and your brilliant writing style that thrilled me as a child and now is mesmerizing my son. He has read Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great and now is enthralled by Superfudge. Every mom waits and prays for "that" moment and I got mine yesterday...all thanks to you. Blessings. Mary

Hello Judy,
I really love your novels. They are a great edition to the classroom. The purpose of this is to encourage you to write more!! Especially in the middle grade/young adult novels are in high demand. There is a lot of current strong competition and I would love to see you rise above them! Thank you for your time in reading this!

I love your book : Here's To You Rachel Robinson. Its one of my absolute favourites, but I'm a bit curious about the ending. What does happen between Rachel and Jeremy ? Does Alison becom class president? Does Jessica's acne go away ? And does Charles change his ways? Those are just a few things I wanted to know but otherwise thank you for writing and incredible book!

Hometown: Columbia, MD - Posted August 29, 2014 10:58 pm

For an ELA project I have to interview a fictional character, then write a human-interest story off the interview. I can't decide whether or not to do Sally J. Freeman or Ma Fanny. I also wanted to say that my mom literally loves your novels, her favorite is Forever, though I like Starring Sally J. Freeman As Herself. I'm also trying to be a writer but I am not very good at making my ideas into stories.

Posted August 29, 2014 2:42 pm

Dear Mrs. Blume
My mom wrote you a letter 26 years ago when I was 11. I was going through what all 11 year old girls go through plus some more extreme complications, I found so much comfort in your books that my mom wrote you to thank you for what you did for me and no doubt countless other children. She found your responding letters and sent them to me today. I remember feeling so special looking at your hand written notes to me then, and today was no different. my eleven year old, Savannah, also reads your books and loves them! I just wanted you to know that you are so special to so many generations and will always have my love and admiration!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Cinnamon
