Thank you, thank you for all your wonderful notes. I only wish I could respond to each of you personally. Just want you to know that my assistant and I read this guestbook every day, and that your continued love and support are a constant inspiration.

Although I live in Africa, I love Peter and Fudge.

Hi. I just want to say that I feel A lot like Peter in the fudge books. A few weeks ago my little brother stapled all the pages in my notebook shut. It took forever to get all the staples out. Please write another fudge book. I had an idea. What if fudge had to get braces or glasses or something. Thank you.

My family lived in Elizabeth NJ for many years. My father, Melville Shapiro, was a reporter for the Elizabeth Daily Journal. He received a journalism award for his coverage of the 3 plane crashes. My brother and father saw the first plane smoking in the sky. I can't wait to read your book and wonder whether you read any of my father's reporting in your research. I think my sister went to school with you (Linda Shapiro). Thank you for the wonderful books that me, my siblings, our children, and grandchildren have loved for so many years...Judith

The first time I read 'Just As Long As We're Together' I was a 12-year-old 7th grader, just like Stephanie. The last time I read it I was a "not even young" 38-year-old, just like Stephanie's mom. I have read this book countless times over the past 28 years, and it is easily my favorite book of all time...it's comforting like an old friend.

I arrived here by clicking through "Conservative" and "Pro-Life" websites to find one that SUPPORTED the choice made by Judy Blume to encourage people to donate to Planned Parenthood on Mother's Day.
I enjoyed Blume's books as a child and, as an adult, now I admire her for standing up for women and helping defend our rights. She obviously understands feminism in a way many people don't appreciate--subtle and courageous, and in charge of their own bodies.
Thank you, Judy Blume.

Dear Judy,
How is it to be an author? How do you get all your ideas for your books? I think your books are very funny! How long does it take you to write most of your books? When did you start writing/typing your books? Is there a time of the day you like to write the most? Thanks for being an inspiration to other writers.
Sincerely,
Hannah

Dear Judy Blume,
Your books brightened my childhood world from the time I was 9 years old and my 4th grade teacher read to us out loud Blubber, to my teenage and young adult years when I was reading Summer Sisters and Wifey. I loved escaping into the worlds and lives of the characters you created. I really really hope you write another book. Many thanks for all your wonderful books.

Judy, your books helped me through the most difficult times of adolescence. Recently I introduced my ten year old daughter to them and she has torn through all of them! She is so touched by your understanding of young girls that as a fourth grade project she has chosen to be you and tell of your life and experiences as she understands it. Thank you for your guidance throughout the most difficult girlhood experiences, not only for myself and my daughter, but for all girls who have been fortunate enough to experience your writing. You are a hero.
