Thank you, thank you for all your wonderful notes. I only wish I could respond to each of you personally. But in order to start a new book I need serious thinking time, which means less time for e-mail. Hope you understand. Just want you to know that my assistant and I read this guestbook every day, and that your continued love and support are a constant inspiration.

Judy,

Your books are treasures in every girl's experience. It's my pleasure to introduce you and your stories to my two daughters (8 and 10) along with my friends' daughters.

Your writing is inspirational, motivational, entertaining and captivating.

My 10-year old has writing in her future. Can't wait to re-read your books (along with her.)

So glad you were easy to find and connect.

Best,
Susan

Dear Judy Blume,
I love your books. Now I am reading Double Fudge. I think chapter 8 is a real coincidence in Double Fudge. When I read It`s Not the End Of the World, I had thought Karen`s parents were coming back together. If they did, it could of been a whole other story.
Your fan,
Johnna

Back when I was a "Fifth grade nothing", oh about 1976 or so, I remember writing to you and getting a very nice typed note back. That was so nice of you, especially since you were the center of the universe at the time! I have misplaced it over time, but I will never forget, and hope I run across it someday. I did find the autographed photo you sent with it. I was telling a friend about it just today (she is a fan of yours, too!)

Hi Judy! My son once brought home a bookmark for me from his school library that had a quote from you he knew I'd appreciate. In it you compared writing and reading good books to cooking and eating good food. Now I can't find it anywhere and have even looked on the Internet. Can you help me by remembering that quote?

From 4th grade onwards, I felt I found my friends in Judy's books. I became comfortable talking to my mother about sexual feelings, feelings of conflict about religion, and weight issues. I mean it when I say Judy's work not only changed me to become more able to express my emotions and feel like there was an adult out there who understood me, but she also gave me a love of reading. I remember sitting on the swing in my neighborhood park, getting through Just As Long As We're Together. Even though I am over halfway through with university, I still think back on her books and pick them up just to remember that feeling again. Thank you, Judy, for being a hero for girls, and the women they become, everywhere.

My partner and I, both in our 50's, read the entire "Fudge" series to each other at night before we went to bed. It was a wonderful way to end busy days. We howled with laughter and reluctantly turned off the light each night.

Hi Judy,

Like most kids in the seventies and eighties, I grew up reading your books. Every one. I'm thrilled to learn you have another one coming out in June! Your writing has meant so much to me and you've been an inspiration.

I published my first book last year (Both Sides of Love)and I'm happy to say it's doing well.

This is a tough business but I can't imagine doing anything else. My second book comes out this year.

Thank you for everything you've given to the literary world; your warm, funny, touching stories will always hold a place in my heart.

Love,
Kim
