Dear Judy,
I grew up reading your books, and I was very excited when my daughter started bringing home Fudge books to read. She LOVES them, and she can so relate to them. Recently, my 3rd grader was reading Superfudge. I was shocked when she brought it to me after reading the chapter "Santa Who" with all sorts of questions. I was shocked and disappointed that my daughter read this chapter in a 3rd grade reading level book. I wish you would consider taking that chapter out or rephrasing it. I skimmed through and didn't notice anything in that chapter that was extremely VITAL to the storyline. I still love your books, but I will reconsider letting my 3rd grader read them until I reread them!

How do you save a young girl from one of the most crime infested cities in the nation? You give her a book to read - one that she can love and feel through. For me that was Tales (of a 4th gd...), Are you there God... (which really walked me through puberty in a way that 2 older sisters and teasing brothers did not.
Thank you so much! Now I ready your books to my kids 9 (boy) and 11 (girl). Not because they can't, but because reading has become a beautiful family sport that allows us to laugh and snuggle and learn and love.
You were a gift from God. Thank you.

Hi Judy! Thank you for supporting me as I grew up. At 46, I decided to read Are You There God It's Me Margaret again… and I laughed and laughed at how important getting that period was to us all, only to be cursed for the rest of our years! HA! Anyway, I loved it again. Took me right back. But I would love to see you write "Are You There God It's Me Margaret and I am 56 and OMG"… I would enjoy know what happened to them all, including Grandma and Mr. Binaman (rhymes with Cinnamon!)… Thank you again. Just wanted to say hello.

I devoured your books (especially Are You There God, It's Me Margaret)when I was younger and now have the privilege of sharing and promoting them @ my library. I'm thrilled that you are being honored during Nat'l Library Week! I am creating a display in your honor in the Tinicum Twp Library entitled "Books in Blume". It will feature photos of your works in flower pots along with the actual book collection and facts about you. Hope it makes you smile

Judy,
I just saw the film version of "Tiger Eyes". It was wonderful and it was great to see the characters come to life. Tiger Eyes has always been the book I go back to when a loved one has passed (unfortunately, way too many) and have bought copies for friends who have suffered a loss. I truly love your books: so hopeful and real!

Thank you,
Noel

Dear Miss Blume,
Hello! I just want to give a little thank you note for writing "Are you there God? It's me, Margaret." I loved this book so much. I read it all the time, and I can relate to some of the emotions Margaret goes through in the process of growing up. Thanks again!

Dear Judy,
I can't believe I am searching for books for my daughter. She's only almost 5, and I'm not sure yet how young your books go (I will research your site to find out), but I had an overwhelming need to type you a short note after seeing all of the nostalgic titles that got me through growing up. You LITERALLY saved my life as a young girl with your gift of telling stories. They helped me endure a less than pleasant upbringing; I would read them over and over until they would actually fall apart...I sure wish I had them to pass along to my sweetie, but I will take pleasure in purchasing fresh new copies when the time is right.
THANK YOU for sharing your talents with the world over the years (I cannot believe you are in your 70's! You look fantastic!!) I sure hope you are healthy and well, and that we can expect even more precious stories soon.

Yours sincerely, A true and devoted fan. I feel like you are my family. (Put it this way, I don't remember my life without Judy Blume!!) OK, I think you get the point. Much love!!

Hi Judy,

I love to read your books when I have any free time or when I have nothing better to do.
Here is my suggestion for a new book:
You should write an adventure/funny story about sisters who get lost on a camping trip and they could have lots of arguments through the book and you can choose what else happens

Dear Mrs Judy Blume,

I have been reading your books since 1983. You are still my 1# best writer. You have always inspired me to keep reading From Fudge, to Are you there God, to Wifey you are still 1#. I just want you to know you have given me a great childhood. I remember writing to you in 7th grade but never got a respond back and even now @ 37 years of age you still keep me mesmerize with your long tales. Take care and God bless you always.
