Our granddaughter, 9, is going to be welcoming soon-to-be-born baby brother next month. Have you written any "big sister advice" type books? We have been unable to locate any fun books on this subject for her. She's very bright, 3rd grade, reads chapter books way above her grade level. Thank you for any comments you can share. Teri

Hi mrs. Blume I just want you to know you are one of my most favorite writers in the world ! The thing I like about your writing is that you have a way to click with any teen per-teen young adult or any one ! It's amazing I always looked up to you and the way you write like when I read " are you there God it's me margret" when I finished I was like one day I'm gonna write a book that is just as good as one of yours . Honestly that was my Favorite book I ever read ! It was so good that i told all my friends about that book and they all loved it too , you really are a great roll modle .I also love blubber that was a great book too . When ever I feel like watching TV I pick up one of your books because the details you use are so real I can just see it perfectly in my head , I think all your books should be movies they would be big I mean really BIG hits ! You are such an amazing writer I would love to meet you in person and even when I send this and if it just turns into junkmail or one of your personal helpers gets this email at least you know I Just ment to say hi and I love your books ok well bye and it would mean the world if you emailed me back I'm talking about the real you not a robot not your helper you Judy Blume ! Ok bye !

grade 4/5

Dear Ms. Blume,
Our Grade 4/5 class has just finished reading "Double Fudge". We're excited about reading another book in the series. We liked "Double Fudge" so much that we were sad when it ended.
Some of our favourite parts in the story were when Fudge and Mini were stuck in the elevator, when they had to chase Uncle Feather and when Peter got angry in the bathroom.
One thing we're still wondering about is why Uncle Feather stopped talking. We love reading your books and hope you will keep writing many more.
Sincerely,
Grade 4/5 English

Judy,
I really enjoyed reading Are You There God, It's Me Margaret. One of my best friends who honestly doesn't even like to read loved your book. In school my class is reading Blubber, and I think that although it is kind of sad (because of how mean the other kids are to 'Blubber') it is a very good book. I myself hope to someday be an author and find your writing interesting, funny and inspirational!
Sincerely,
Amelia

Hi, my name is Jenny, and about 2 years ago I have sent you a snail mail and you sent a reply back to me. I am so proud that I am the only one who got that reply from you in my elementary school! Also, I read most of your books, especially about Peter and Fudge series. I hope you write more books about them. Oh, and this would not be polite, but I like you to write a book named Jenny, because even it is not me, I want my English name to be on a book! That would be so awesome! I hope you see my message. I am a big fan of yours, so please write more books!!!

Dear Judy,

"Forever" has always been my favorite book. I read it when I was eleven. I am reading it again right now.
The German translation is not bad but it is always better to stick to the original version.

Thanks a lot for this great book!

Warm regards,

Alexandra from Germany :-)
