Judy,
I grew up reading your books...I even remember where it started-my 1st grade teacher read our class Superfudge and after that I was hooked-- I read the entire series..then I began reading the middle grade books, then young adult, and then the adult novels (I don't think I was ever so excited as the day that Summer Sisters became available for purchase).
Now my daughter is learning to read and at her schools book fair last week I purchased (again, as mine were worn out and falling apart) the Peter, Sheila, and Fudge series. Every night before bed we read a chapter together and its very heart warming to see her love of reading beginning the same way mine did...with your wonderful books!!

Dear Judy,
I love your books. The things you write is like real life. I love Otherwise known as Sheila the Great, Are you there God? It's me Margaret, Tales of a fourth grade, and Super Fudge. They are things that happen in life. My friends saw me reding your books and started to read it. We have a lot of fans of Fudge books in class. Can you write a book about going to a new school? I am leaving my private school and going to a public school. I am nervous and excited. I heard there are 4 fourth grade classes!
Love, Zoe

I think that you should write another Fudge book and I've got an idea. I think Fugde should have fudge in first grade and have Peters old teacher who is having a baby plus I think cousin Howie should come back with here new...BOY... named Farly Drexel Hachter J.R. and has a bird just like Fudge! About the fudge 1st grade thing I think he should have( for the sub) he should have... the original rat face! Mr. Hachter should have advertising bussnies named... Lemmonalla! and it's made with Sprite and lemmonade. One more thing Jimmy's dad is already married and Vinny( or what the dogs name is) should have babys!. This is the last thing positively absolutely last thing is Peter gets to keep one puppy that he wins at Jimmy's birthday celebration!

Dear, Mrs.Blume
Hello, I am Cassie XXXX, an 8th grader at Richard Winn Academy in Winnsboro, South Carolina. My English class is working on a banned/ challenged books project in which we have to read a book and research the issues around it being challenged. I'm researching Blubber by Judy Blume. It would be very helpful if you could help me on my censorship project. Are there are any documents on why and why not the book is banned/ challenged? What schools have tried and banned/ challenged the book? Why the book is banned/ challenged? Does it have literary merit that should keep it from being censored?

Thanks for your time,

Cassie L. XXXXX
