Judy,
Ive only ever read one of your books, Freckle Juice when I was younger. I recently got an assignment from my English teacher to look up books that have been censored. I was suprised to see your name quite a few times. I started reading what a few of them are about and they honestly sound terrific! I think I will start reading them. I was just curious to know if you thought it was shocking that they were censored?
Your new fan,
Brooklynn

Dear Ms. Blume,
We just finished reading Double Fudge in our reading group. We really liked this book because it is sooo funny! Our favorite parts were: when Tootsie throws her lollipop at the shoe salesman, when Tootsie tries to talk, when Fudge spits his banana on the lady going to the visit the President and when Fudge says he is going to buy the world. Thanks for writing such a great book!

Have you ever considered writing a follow-up to "Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret." So many of us would love to know what else happened to Margaret and her friends....did Grandma marry Mr. Binnamon.... This book made a difference in so many lives!

We love you, Judy. Thanks.

I'm sorry, but I am a Korean. But you can know me as Olivia Sharp.I've read all of Fudge series, and my favorite character is Fudge. He reminds me of my little cousin brother who is 1year younger than him.Like Fudge, disaster follows everywhere when my cousin goes somewhere.Plus,as I'm a Korean, there may be some grammer mistakes.

I really like the fudge books. I have a yonger brother, Fudge's age, & every time I read a "funny part" as we call it, I read it out loud. When I first started reading your books, when I was three I didn't know what it was like, having a brother like that, because my broter was only a few months old. But now I know. I know it's a pain in the back sometimes, and sometimes it's fun. Like Peter I often don't like being the older one. But hard work pays off, as my mom says.Every time I start to read one of your books, I just can't put it down! The most recent time I read one of your books, Double Fudge, I didn't have time to finish it in one night. I, most reluctantly put down my book, and went to Monmouth. Although, I couldn't finish it in one hour the next night I finished it in two! I really love to read! That's why mant people say I have a very expanded vocabulary for an eight-year-old.

Thank you my dear Judy Blume for the wonderful stories, I remember as a 12 year old not putting your books down.. I had to finish them and your stories made me think harder about life as a preteen. Thank you for being a positive outlet to a girl that grew up in an area that only put negative options in her face everyday..I am now an author after writing poems since I was 17...Thank you for inspiration...Blessings

I was just browsing as always in Chapters. I am just looking for any interesting books that will caught my eye. I was thinking something for my kids. The book that caught me was "Are you there God, It's me Margaret" which would be good for my eldest 12 years for which she is starting on the age of knowing herself... and the other one was "Here's to you, Rachel Robinson." oh I love it how you capture every kids phase of life where they will learned from your book and also through their experience. Cheers to you.
